healthy weight for woman who is 5'8"

Hello! I am now approx 152. I want to be 130. That will be skinny, I know, but I have small bones. I have been 130 before and felt great. Today someone told me that may be outside the range of healthy.

Any links to recommended ranges, etc. would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am the same height (almost, just shy), and I weigh 136, but I am on Peertrainer because I want to lose 6 pounds. I am slender and small boned, but I am not the weight I was when I felt great and healthy.

Healthy weight really depends on your body frame. Many women who are 5'8" and weigh 150 look terrific; some look heavy. Others are 5'8" and around 130 and look great; others look anorexic. A lot depends on your muscle mass too. You can weigh 150 but be very toned and look skinnier than someone who weighs 135 but is kind of soft and flabby. Remember, muscle weighs more than fat. Make sure you take your body fat into account.
