Thought this was interesting! I wonder how accurate it is?

Came out a little lower than what the callipers told me, but pretty much the same as what my electro test said...

Mine came out about 6-7% lower than the handheld unit at my gym.

Mine came out about 2% higher than the hand held machine at the gym. My problem with formulas is it doesn't take into account how much MUSCLE weight you have. I am pretty muscular and to look at me you would not believe this formula calculates a 32% body fat.

I put the link above into the Associated URL spot so it would be easier for people to check it out

I enjoyed the other calculators offered by this site too. I found this to be a good place for guidelines as I have no access to the calipers or handheld options at gyms. Good point above about the frame and musculature of the body making a difference, but I still found this helpful
Thanks for putting this out here for us.

Thanks for that!! I'm going to the gym today and I'll let you know what the difference is...it said I was at 23% bodyfat.

It's obviously an average and people very a lot. I put in myself and two friends. 2 of the 3 results were believable, one was about 13% different from a professional measurement (I think with calipers) which I think is more believable for that person. Probably some body shapes just don't match the formula well.
