I used one of the ready-to-drink shakes quite a lot when I was on a low carb diet a few years ago, but then I think they changed the formula so that the net carbs were higher and I quit buying them. However, while I used them, they were fine and tasted good.

9:05 again. I got curious about why I quit using them and went looking at the EAS products I used to buy. Now I remember. I used to use the "Carb Sense" ready-to-drink shake (3 net carbs) and my local grocery store quit carrying that line and changed to the "Lite" line (15 net carbs) of ready-to-drinks. So it was my grocery store that changed, not the EAS formula. I would still buy the Carb Sense if I had easy access.

I eat the EAS low carb bars every day with 1/2 a banana. But the ready to drink shakes make me want to hurl. They're slimy and disgusting.

If you're looking for a good meal replacement shake, their Myoplex used to be king, but in recent years the price has went up. Instead, use Optimum Nutrition's meal replacement power (not to be confused with ON's protein powder, which is not as thick). It's just as good as Myoplex, but a lot cheaper.

Please understand, there is a difference between a protein shake and a meal replacement shake.

I believe the OP is asking about the EAS brand and not the Slim-Fast brand.
