The healthiest things you can eat in a chinese restaurant are any of the dishes that have chicken, shrimp, or tofu (not fried!) and veggies, with the sauce served on the side. Most places will make any dish and substitute the fried stuff for not-fried, and will bring sauce on the side if you request it. Ask for white rice on the side, and maybe eat 1/4 of what they bring, if you think you need a carb. Fried rice "appears" brown, but it's not, it's just cooked with soy sauce, in oil. I'm not sure about the crab rangoon, but, probably a fair amount of fat... If you need to have one, just have one. Tell yourself that after the one, the rest will just be greasy and cold and not worth the calories!

As for tacos, it really depends what you have on/with them. Look at the grocery store to see how many calories are in 1 shell - I think it's about 100 or 150. If you're making them yourself, try a taco salad maybe - ground beef, drained, isn't so bad for you, and lots of lettuce, low fat cheese, tomatoes or salsa, and a little fat-free sour cream. Fat-free refried beans aren't bad either. In a restaurant, ask for the "bad stuff" - the sour cream and the cheese - on the side, so you can just eat a little. Try eating the filling out with a fork and leaving most or all of the shell. It'll cut calories by a ton! Also, try to avoid the mexican rice!

Good luck!

re: crab rangoon

Put the crab rangoon down! One is 312 calories and 19 g fat!
Try sauted veggies and brown rice.
As for the taco serving size, it depends. Taco Bell has one taco being a serving, but some recipes for home made have 2 listed as the serving. But the calories/fat for the 2 taco serving are twice as much as single one (or roughly so, since its different recipes).
