Too much water leads to...
I've been trying to get more water through out the day, but it seems like I am constantly going to the rest room. Does this diminish after you body gets used to consuming that much water or is that just the way it is?

It will get better as your body gets used to it. You might try sipping water slowly all day instead of drinking big glasses all at once. It may be annoying, going to the bathroom all the time, but it's flushing out all kinds of impurities and toxins-good things.

Yes - it gets better. What aggravates it for me though is if I mix water and diet soda - then I'm like a sieve. As long as i stay away from soda and drink only water (not a big tea or coffee fan) then I'm fine.

it definitely gets better!! when i first increased my water intake, i had the same troubles with constant restromm visits. but not long after my body adjusted and now i am back to normal.

I easily drink over 2 quarts (tea, herbal tea, seltzer, + water) while I'm at work and, yes, it means I go to the bathroom very often. However, since I have a desk job in front of a computer I find this a GOOD THING since it forces me to leave my desk and walk and move a little bit. This prevents (or at least reduces) my stiffness and all the other bad things that happen when one sits without moving for loooong stretches of time.
BTW, I probably drink between 1.5-2 quarts of the same liquids before + after work, for a total intake of close to 4 quarts/day. No wonder I go so often!

Its no big deal when I am home, but it can be a problem at work. I am a hair colorist and make-up artist. When I'm with a client, I cant just leave them. But then again... when ya gotta go - you gotta go!
Right now I am drinking about 30-50 ounces of water within the work day. I hope the bathroom trips ease up with in the next week or two.

I am aiming for half my weight in ounces of water. I need 100oz a day. For me that is 5 bottles of water. It takes me all day to drink it. I don't allow myself to drink anything else until after my water is drank. Once I quit the caffine and gave up the carbonated drinks completely my trips to the bathroom slowed down.
