Working Out at Home
Hello!
I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions for websites that give good home workout routines. I know there are a lot of great DVDs out there, but I'd also like to know about websites. I have minimal equipment and tend to prefer calisthenic type exercises (lunges, crunches, ect).
Anything you can suggest would be great! Thanks!! :)

Get the book "You On A Diet". It has a great workout and great diet advise. Concentrates more on measuring yourself than weighing yourself.

Okay, I hesitate to mention this one because I have a love/hate attitude towards this site, but have a look at t-tapp.com. I bought her book for $18 from Amazon, then bought her total system using the coupon in the back of the book. Now, after doing a 7-day bootcamp, I have lost 1 3/4 inches from bust, waist, hips, and abs, despite eating lots of holiday cookies and snacks. The 15-minute workout can be done in 4 square feet of floor space in your living room. There, I said it.

Check out this web site:
http://www.strongwomen.com/fitness.htm
There are exercises here that require dumbbells and exercises that require NOTHING but your own body. Good luck!

I use a fit deck at home- http://www.fitdeck.com/fit/index.htm
all the exercises are designed to be done without any equipment. I deal myself 5 cards and do 2 sets of each. It's a good, solid workout. all very much what you're looking for- lunges, crunches, pushups, etc.
I like it because it's cheap, easy to do anywhere and portable- I can take it with me over the holidays.

I think 9:56 meant toward the recommended site, not toward PT. But still, why the love/hate relationship with that site?

When I read the 9:56 poster's comment & then checked out the site, I'm guessing it's because while all the testimonials are favorable, the video/pictures don't look very hip & fashionable. It almost seems to be targeted towards an older population, stating that a Perricone quote called it an anti-aging workout (or something along those lines).
Not trying to offend, just trying to help...

9:56 here. My love/hate attitude is because of her business practices. Unlike most reputable websites, she offers no money-back guarantee if you are dissatisfied with her product.

Yes - T-tapp is good
I also like doing free weights - but t-tapp is very good and I notice that when do it my back always feels good. It stengthens all the right things, i guess!
