ate horribly for 3 days... disaster. what would you do tomorrow?
3 days of holiday partys in a row. day 1 I broke my diet a little...day 2 a little more...and tonight I just went crazy!!:(
I have another all day potluck to go to tomorrow but I'm thinking of skipping it because I'm really not trusting my own will power right now. I'm feeling awful, sick, stuffed and defeated. What do you do the day after a binge or set back?

Hit the Reset button
Start the day by making a gourmet healthy breakfast, like a grease-free omelette (think artichokes and low-fat cheddar, or portobello and swiss) with a bowl of melon balls or berries. Then hit the gym for a looong workout, like double your usual session. Go home, make a spritzer (fruit juice cut with seltzer), take it with you into a hot bath enhanced with bubbles or scented oils, and maybe put a 10-minute mask on while you sip it. At this point you will have spent about 3 hours taking care of yourself inside and out, topped off with a bit of pampering -- you won't want to mess it up with another binge.
Yes, I do this quite often even if I didn't binge. It's a great way to spend a Sunday morning.

And DEFINITELY skip the party. Just don't put yourself in that predicament. Do your best to just get through the day doing a good job, eating light, drink lots of water, work out, and by Monday you will reel rejuvenated. One good day is all it takes to remind you that you can do it.

Forget about tomorrow and get focused right now. Make a commitment to yourself. If your not important enough to yourself, [ to be healthy], then who are you important to?
