HELP! crossiants in the office.
I came in early knowing that few people would be here and I could get a proposal out. One of the managers is here from the other side and brought croissants (chocolate, plain, everything) for the office to be nice. It's not nice. I'm frustrated.

there were croissants in my office two days ago
It was tough, I had even brought a healthy breakfast. I wanted the croissant though, and in the end I just had half a plain one...and surprisingly it lasted me till lunch.
Stay strong. Dont have one if you don't want it. Make a compromise if you do want it. And if you do, take an extra brisk walk at lunch or something.

Oh the temptation
I work at home now but in the office oh man it was awful ! Always food and the worst possible ! I would tell myself "now you know what that crossiant tastes like, you have had plenty before and if you eat it it's calories that you can't really afford to add to your day so you are not going to eat it!" Most often it worked or I would just get a small taste of it and make that be enough.

Maybe I should just take a bite?
It's about an hour later. I'm not sure if I take a bite I'll be able to stop and how do you do this anyway with the croissants being for the "public"? I feel weird ripping a section and then having my hands on it. I guess I could cut with a knife but if I do that, then my peice will be much bigger than if I just took a bite. I am wasting time on this. I can't believe how much time I'm wasting on this.

Don't do it! Stay strong. Think of how much butter and fat is in that thing.
We have a similar problem at my work, one of the sales reps is always bringing boxes of donuts and he makes sure to walk around to every person offering them and he used to really push it. Come on, you know you want one. I'm lucky now I've got an office and keep the door closed, so he just knocks on the window now and I can shake my head and he goes away.

I have this happen to me in the office too and I wish they would just understand that some people can't resist! The offices are always trying to be nice but I don't need the "niceness". I would rather them put the money towards subsidizing my gym membership :)
