Diet Coke Zero
I used to drink regular soda all the time, then stopped for years because I hated how bloated it made me feel (and look). I hate the after taste of diet soda so I stopped drinking it all. I recently had one of those new diet coke zeros, I couldn't believe how it tasted just like the original coke. It has absolutely no after taste, its great. Anyone else notice this?

Re:Diet Coke Zero
I love the new coke zero too! I try to limit how manY I drink, but they are great. Tast so much more like a "real" coke than the regular "diet' ones. Makes me feel like I've had a real treat to have one, they taste so good!

Another good one is Diet Rite - cola flavor. Also the orange flavor is good too. I'm not a fan of the fruity ones. It's all made with Splenda now, so there's really no diet taste.

I've tried a few of the sodas with Splenda in them and I find them too sweet after years of soda with Nutrasweet.... funny how our tastes change.

Diet soda = yuck

Bump - for the person who thinks she's the Christopher Columbus of the diet soda world.

11:48- you are an asshole.
Monday, March 24, 2008, 12:48 PM
Can't really disagree with 12:48.
Yeah, I saw that 3 year old post... it is boring and short. Like 11:48's life must be to be such a prick.

There's no argument against my point, so you're reduced to name-calling?
What a smart bunch. I hope you can't reproduce.
Monday, March 24, 2008, 1:49 PM
Want an argument against your point? What IS your point? The fact she wasn't the first to post this, gotcha, is she the first to discover something WELL after many in world.. nope. There is no reason to be a rude jerk about it.
Monday, March 24, 2008, 2:03 PM
Okay, enough
I mentioned my point - that it was a 5 post thread from 2005 on a conversation that might do with some freshening up.
I really dislike all diet soda except Fresca and so thought I might help someone who drinks regular Coke to see an option and lose a few pounds. Pardon me. I didn't realize there were people here who equated re-threading with delusions of grandeur.
BTW - Sorry... already have two sons - and a Master's degree.
Are we done being mean now?

OP Please
Please, you are way above dignifying jerks like that with comments. They are just bullies. Ignore them and they go away.
I love Coke Zero and just discovered it about 6 months ago being as I am not a big soda drinker. So, just because it is not a new product does not mean it is not new to me.

So you claim to have a graduate degree and two boys, yet you feel the need to call someone a "prick" for making you feel foolish by pointing out that your profound soda market revelation was, perhaps, not so profound? How fulfilled you clearly are by all that education and propagation of your, ahem, quality DNA.
Monday, March 24, 2008, 3:20 PM
let it go 3:20, you really are a bully and an asshole as i previously stated for not letting it drop. i too have a master's degree, and yes i am calling you names.
let it go already.

Whatever...moving on...

Monday, March 24, 2008, 3:54 PM
Wow, they must give anyone who pays the fee a master's degree these days.
Monday, March 24, 2008, 4:04 PM
o are you jealous you don't have one too?
Monday, March 24, 2008, 6:38 PM
Now we can't even make statements that have been made before without getting insulted and chastised?! Wow. I'm not sure there's anything left to talk about!
Monday, March 24, 2008, 8:22 PM
Jealous? Why? Most people who desperately flaunt their education in this context are usually trying too hard to prove that they're worth listening to. At this point I feel kind of sorry for one of them...with two kids and nothing better to do than shout big bad grown-up words from behind her computer screen at someone she doesn't even disagree with, she obviously needs to remind herself that she used to be intelligent. At least she's open-minded enough to try this newfangled Coke Zero thing less than a decade after it was introduced.

frankly, you're both ridiculous for even getting into this argument. who cares if it's been on the market forever? and who cares that you get offended by someone you will never meet? People come to these boards for advice on fitness and health issues, not to observe two adolescents duke it out over a non-issue. Both of you get over yourselves. mb

Ridiculous is right. I predict they are both pushing 500lbs and have nothing better to do but be douche bags because they are so disgusted with themselves. j

I like coke Zero. I am however very leary of artificial sweeteners. I feel as though down the line they will find out they cause cancer, as they did with the saccharin in the 80's. I stick to real sugar when I can. The calories in a sugared soda are so out of hand though. At home I make Kool Aide with half of the sugar. I have been doing this for so many years that neither myself nor my family notice. However, in a soda situation, given the choice I choose Coke Zero.
