Lifting Weights
I am trying to lose about 30-35 lbs. Do you recomment me lifting weights now or what until I get done to the weight I want to be. Any suggestions.

I'd recommend lifting/toning in addition to cardio and dieting. If you stick to just dieting, you're going to lose muscle and fat, which may be quicker poundage, but if you gain the weight back it'll be all fat. Also, muscle requires more calories to maintain than fat does, so, if you have more muscle on your body, your body will actually burn more calories in a resting state than it would otherwise - which will lead to a quicker loss of fat.
If you're going to lift, etc., you may experience muscle gain, which weighs more than fat. Maybe try setting a different type of goal - a goal for your waist to lose a certain number of inches, or a goal to fit into a certain clothing size. That way, if you lose 35lbs of fat, but gain 10-15lbs of muscle, (at which point, you'd probably "look" like you lost at least 30 lbs even though you only really lost 20), you can still be happy about your weight and fitness!
