pick up lines

Anyone have any funny pick up lines that have been used on you since you have been getting fitter and feeling more confident? When I was out walking in my neighborhood last night a guy said to me: "How does it feel to be beautiful?" Ok - so very cheesy (the line and the guy) but still made me feel good that all of this hard work is starting to pay off!

I don't remember any off hand but it's true....they are cheesy but for some reason, make my day too!

i was at a bar, and chatting w/ a bartender friend, and a random man said to the bartender "wow, she's beautiful, you're a lucky guy", and the bartender said back "you're right, she is beautiful".

not a pick up line, but it was the first time this happened to me, no one, aside from my parents or friends had ever referred to me as beautiful-and fully made me realize that i HAD lost weight (40 lbs), and must have no longer been projecting "fat girl" by my attitude for others to notice. I finally felt like i was a pretty girl, albeit due to some older guy who would normally have creeped me out, haha but still it made me feel really good!

oh, the worst one i ever got . . .and this was before i lost weight, "I'd really like to see what you look like naked". WHAT??? talk about not being subtle! and weirdly enough, i heard this one another time after i lost weight from another guy!

I'm very well endowed in the rear-end sector and I just get "Damn!" a lot from random men....

Is my response supposed to be: "Excuse me, sir, please pull over as I'd love to hop in your car! You're definitely the man of my dreams. You had me at "damn"..." I mean that's just not how I envision meeting "mr. right"

I've run into too many guys (dozens, literally) who say stuff like that because they figure girls "like me" don't get much attention (the true princes among men actually SAY this!!) so we'll do anything to/for him. I'm not sure a line like the ones above will ever sound remotely genuine to me.

one more from me ("Damn!").... I was a bar, sober as can be, sitting at a table with some friends (guys and girls). I was at the end, with an open space next to me... a random guy comes up to me and says "You're hot," and before I know it grabs my cup (which used to have water but now just ice), takes a piece of ice and throws it down my shirt... to cool me off. WHO DOES THAT!? I fished out the ice, threw it at him and said something not very nice...I'll just censor myself instead of having others comment on my language use ;). Then I just walked away. but seriously... who does that?

4:49 poster - some people are just insane. Do they really think that is going to work? Geesh!
I also HATE it when I am out dancing and guys just come over and press themselves up against you. My friend almost got into a fight with one guy because he came up behind her and pressed his crotch up against her butt as she was dancing with me, my boyfriend and his friend...she turned around and pushed him so hard that he knocked someone else over and just about fell down. He was like, what did you do that for. She told him that if he stepped near her again and he wouldn't be sticking his crotch on anything but an ice pack. My boyfriend (now husband) and his friend had her back, but she didn't need it. The guy just laughed and walked away. Ahh. I was so mad. It has happened to me too...as soon as my husband steps away...there they are. They are the same ones who won't move out of the way and you have to rub against them to get through a crowd. Jerks.
That is way worse than any tacky pick up line.
My husband just said...would you like to dance and then thanked me at the end of the evening and gave me his number on a napkin. No lines, no inappropriate touching.....I called him the next day. :)

Once, in college... Our meal plan consisted of "points" - a la carte dollars for whatever - and "flexes" - complete meals at the all-you-can-eat (read: gross) cafeteria. Once, a guy told me, "I'll flex you baby!"

Actually, that was probably a pretty big complement, thinking back at how hard it was to get a guy to buy you dinner in college!

this was definitely not a pick up line... but yesterday my boyrfriend's mom saw me in a bikini and told that i had "the perfect body" (whatever that means). i suppose it was a compliment but it made me kind of uncomfortable. what do you say to that?? i mumbled, "yeah...... ummmmm thank you..." i still can't believe she said that to me. it was weird.

To the 5:22 poster:
I don't think he was offering you dinner. I think he was offering to...how to put this politely...treat your body like a buffet. Considering how hard it was to get a guy to do THAT in college, it still wasn't a half-bad offer ;)

5:11 poster-omg! i HATE when guys do that!!!! why? why? WHY? do they feel the need to put their crotch against you? it's one thing if you were acting even remotely interested in them beforehand, instead, they just come out of nowhere and attach themselves to your back end! uggg!!

The other day actually, a man at the restaurant I work at was asking me about my dating life, he is in his 50's and is sort of a gigilo, he asked me on a scale of one to ten what I think I am, 10 being the hottest prettiest girl, I said 7. And he flipped out, and said "NO YOUR A TEN OMG, DON"T EVER THINK YOU ARE A SEVEN AGAIN!" And the rest of the time he was there wouldn't stop talking about it. Even though he was older by 25 years it made me feel good.
