How many points am I allowed on Weight Watchers?

Hi there -- I don't belong to WW, but I noticed a lot of PT members using the Point System. I'm wondering how I can calculate how many points I should be having per day. I found an online calculator and determined that yesterday I had 33 points. Can anyone help?

Here are the rough Point value you need:

Less than 150 pounds = 18-25 Points
150 to 174 pounds = 20-27 Points
175 to 199 pounds = 22-29 Points
200 to 224 pounds = 24-31 Points
225 to 250 pounds = 26-33 Points
Over 250 pounds = 28-35 Points

This is for the basic plan. Going to a couple meetings might not be a bad idea, they will help you tailor a points plan for you. It depends on the meeting leader, some are much better than others.

Thank You!

I am the OP -- thank you. I way over-did my points as I am 145lbs so it should be in the 18-25 range. Oh well -- I'll start keeping better track tomorrow!

Instead of ranges, they now do a single # and then give you a weekly allowance

So instead of 18-23, I'm 20 pts, and 35 weekly extra. The extras are intended to be used.

I know your expertise on this. I must say we should have an online discussion on this. Writing only comments will close the discussion straight away! And will restrict the benefits from this information.

Thank you for some other informative blog. Where else could I get that type of information written in such an ideal means? I have a mission that I’m just now working on, and I have been at the look out for such information.
