reassesing goals?
memebers of one of my groups and I have monthly goals, we are pretty much at the halfway mark of the month. Do you think it is important to reasses our goals? and should our goals be tweaked?

personally, i think goals should be reassessed at the end of the time marker so that you can evaluate what worked to achieve that goal, what was missing if you didn't achieve that goal and how realistic the goals were to begin with. I think if you reassess in the middle of it, you might be allowing yourself to slide to an easer goal so that you can say that you succeeded. There's nothing wrong or bad in "failing". "Failure" allows us to uncover our weaknesses and gives us the opportunity to strengthen that which we discover or consider "weak" in ourselves.
Work like mad to achieve your stated goals, use your stated goals as the incentive, then evaluate.

Do whatever keeps you motivated!!
If you are slacking off on your program because you're at the half-way mark and have fallen off the wagon, by all means reassess those goals! You can start with the best intentions, but if are side tracked along the way- don't let it hold you back from achiving your ultimate goal wheather it be weight loss, bulking up, or just eating better. Remember, you can alway look back at your original goal at the end of the month to see how close you came.
You have your whole life to make or miss little goals along the way, bottom line- always work for the end goal even if that means reassesing your current goals. Don't give up, reset and move forward ;) Good Luck!
