Building Muscle, Losing Fat???
So, I feel like I've been building muscle/toning. I can feel it. I feel like it is just pushing out my fat though! Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose?? LOL
What can I do to drop some of the fat on top of the muscle? Here's what I have...
A sculpting class at the gym
Nordic Track
Recumbent Bike
Stair Stepper
1, 3, and 5 lb hand weights and 1 strength band
Balance ball (I think that's what it's called)
Yourself Fitness
Various workout videos, On Demand workouts, and I should be getting Turbo Jam any day now.
Wow...now that I've typed that list, I'm seeing an addiction to purchasing exercise equipment and not using it for very long!
Well...any suggestions??? Thanks!

Having you tried lowering your calorie intake? I know that you think you are doing all this work for nothing but really muscle burns more cals that fat, and when you lose the fat you'll have killer muscles! All I can suggest is a lot of water.. keep with the muscle building, and eat different foods!!

Funny, the comment about being an exercise equipment addict.
I never realized how much stuff I had until I listed it out either!
I find that if I don't drink enough water, the fat seems to hang around more...

Any vigourous aerobic activity will help burn calories. Aim for three or four 45-minute cardio sessions a week and you will probably see results, if you are not overeating (1600 calories a day might be a good goal for you). Try interval training, too. It really helps burn a lot in a shorter time.
