How to overcome bloating about a month in and doesn't want to go away.. Advice??
Hello, I'm a 28 yr female currently living in South Korea.
I was hoping someone could give me some advice.
The the past couple years, I've been trying to lose about 20 lbs.
However, about a month into any diet.. I become bloated and feel ridiculously puffy all over. I'll try to wait it out for several weeks, but I usually give in at the end because it seems that for all my effort with watching what I eat and exercising, little to no progress has been made. My body refuses to give it up!
I mainly cook my own meals and eat white rice maybe about once a week.
I drink about half of my body weight in water, and I've cut gluten out of my diet.
I've tried peertrainer's cleanse, but the results were the same.
Has anyone else experienced this? What did you do to break through it?

Wow, that's great to hear from someone from a country I haven't heard from before.
Can't help you on bloating issues (I'm male), but I have a couple of suggestions.
1. Join a team to help keep motivated if you aren't on one already. Team Progress Not Perfection 2014 is very active and their are a lot of girls I'm sure could add more than I could on this subject. Plus it will help to stick with it.
2. Read about the Core Rule Plan on the teams community tab. You mentioned starting for a month, hanging in for a couple weeks, then giving in. I started on the plan about 4wks ago and am really excited about it. Its more about changing your lifestyle than a diet. Its kept me highly focused on solid improvements. Its pretty much eliminated the start/stop progress of my past.

We have a similar problem. I am also trying to shed a few pounds but it seems like I'm getting more tired and hungry every day. I've been searching the for ideas and success stories and I happen to find
