Suggestion for a new PT wellness tool

I think something like this would be cool for PT and really ignite the enthusiasm in PT. as much as I love this place.. its becoming stagnant.. this is my home.. I have family here, but something like sparks have to offer to PT members where we could log our exercise and it syncs with a device would have a real affect on PT.. I know so many people have lost interest. others find pt not as easy to navigate as other sites. even the community does not see as much traffic as it use to.. spotlight has three members left.. thats to set a good example for others to follow... there are 3 of us there.

the other sites have alot of trackers for water, fitness minutes and interaction between members.. they give away virtual trophies for logging.. pounds lost , exercise.. and so on PT is great for logging and commenting and amazing support which is why I stay and call this home.., but its very basic compared to other sites like sparks.. I know if you take the great programs you sell and create a PT monitor coupled with online trackers that could all sync together it would renew the vibrancy and energy in PT members to really get more out of logging, commenting and staying active.. we would have friendly competitions with each other. see whose monitor could light up the most get the most steps.

just something to consider.. something like this and giving the spotlight a new makeover.. new people are finding PT we want them to stay.. members are really asking for new success stories,, maybe all the people that are writing in from the cleanse and cheat system. both widely used successful pt programs. ask if they would write a success story.. and share before and after pics.

I was going to wait until I got to my goal weight to write one, but if it would help with the makeover and a new face lift to PT I will be writing one and sending it in.

here is the tracker.. tracks miles, min, steps, and knows what activity..

just something for PT to think about. .. I know you are busy creating amazing programs to help people reach their goals, but the members need more from the whole site.. not just the programs. I have done the PONR,. on track, hormone.. all amazing programs, but the members are wanting more from the site overall. the use of the site, updated success stories, new trackers, interaction. they need something to keep them coming back..

There's always room for improvement.
I did try sparkspeople before, but I like the smaller groups in PT.

Hey Lynneta - When you listed the programs above that you've tried, you included "hormone". What is that?

I agree with you. I hate having multiple places to log into and check because everything I love isn't in one place. I like to be on here for accountability with peers and for group support. I enjoy the smaller groups and how you get to feel like family. I also use LoseIt! on my phone sometimes or Spark to track calories and exercise. It's such a hassle. I would absolutely LOVE to combine the 2.

DITTO!

I don't get why PT admin is choosing not to refresh a tired looking website.

The front page of the lounge still has Jen

No offence to Jen, but she's been there since I first join in 2006 still talking about how she's been a member for 4 months.

I was a regular poster for 5+ years then because of life changes became an occasional lurker for a few years. But honestly, coming back, there are so few active groups, so few community posts and the same content.

I am still trying to find active groups.

I think Jackie's given up on PT. She doesn't even log anymore.
I just get emails from her hawking stuff.
If it weren't for my group members, I would leave.
