scared of gaining it back...
I've been away for the year studying abroad and its been so great for my weight loss...I've lost 15 pounds! I'm busy all the time and I get so much exercise, and food has finally become fuel for me rather than comfort. But now the school year is coming to an end I have to go back home ( I cant afford to be here anymore)...and that means a house full of free food, dinner out with friends, driving to do grocery shopping etc etc. I've been trying to plan ways to keep busy and take a pilates class or something but I'm afraid I'm give in to over indulging. i need some tips/advice/support....anyone had to deal with similar situations?

try to make your lifestyle back at home as much like your day to day abroad-stay busy, eat healthy, walk where ever you can, when you can. join a gym, ride a bike daily, meet friends at the gym first and then go for dinner . . . .there are a million ways to keep the weight off! don't go into your homecoming thinking you will regain the weight or you will make it a self fufilling prophecy! good luck!

In order to keep lost weight off, you really have to completely change your lifestyle. I have changed my lifestyle and kept 30 pounds off (and then recently lost an additional 10) for 3 years, even through pregnancy. Of course, I gained 30 when pregnant, but managed to take it off quickly since I was already a fairly healthy eater.
It's all about moderation and the long haul - not the short term, quick success.
