May 2 American Idol

Well, who do you think will go? I love Taylor but he was the weakest this week, IMHO. I think Chris has the most talent .. but I'm not sure he can win with such rgid rocker stance.

taylor has the "vote for the worst" support this week now that kellie is gone. (they have a hilarious website, although i do not actually participate in their movement). he won't be voted off just for that reason, in my opinion. i think elliot or paris will go. that is not a reflection of their talent, just their star power. at this point i think that's what it really comes down to.

I think Taylor will go too. I think Catherine (ok, maybe Chris) will win in the end. Sometimes i think Chris screams the song but it still sounds good.

I thought Katherine's last performance last night was downright strange. And her first performance was really awful. The worst I've ever seen from her.

I loved Chris's first song, his second song was hard to listen to. He was kind of screaming it.

i was not impressed with the others - I think they will be the bottom 3.

I guess I have strong opinions........ :)

I personally think NO ONE should ever try to sing a Prince song. Seriously, he has got one of the most unique styles. Paris absolutely sucked on it. People in MN do not think he is a god, either. MN is a good portion of rural community where no one could care less about him.
Katherine's first song was wretched, too, and her 2nd song, while better, was weird with her on the floor. She is always showing off her boobs and did you see her mom? Old woman with the same kind of shirt as her daugher. EWWWW! Taylor made me laugh and even though I think Paris is the one who should leave, I am afraid my Elliot will be going. Bummer.

Just for the record- there's a good portion of urban MN (yes, even Mpls) that couldn't care less about Prince either. Just the same- Paris butchered that song.... so sad. Just goes to show, maybe you shouldn't imitate a "God".

taylor is nominated by vote for the worst because whoever decides who to nominate thinks that the AI producers don't like him. by voting for him and keeping him on, it will irritate them, which is the point of the website. they admit he's a good singer.

True, they admit that. Their first pick, Kellie, was completely slammed by them. She was terrible and they said it. I think they had a hard time who to choose after they lost her. I say Paris needs to go!

I feel the same , I really like taylor he has an awesome voice , but CHRIS WOW!!! his voice is amazing . it is rock but i really think he should win .

I love Chris and Taylor! I thought Elliott's 2nd performance and Katherine's too (although the floor dance was weird). I am not crazy about Paris so I hope it's her, not Elliott that goes tonight. I want Chris to win.

WOw ! Paris is gone! That's so great!!! My hope, too, is that Katherine goes next - I feel like she flaunts her body to get votes. She is inconsistent and belongs in Musical Theatre - not in Pop Rock!!!

my prediction: elliot home next week, then taylor. chris will win. all the singers left are talented, so i'm making guesses based on how well they sell their songs and what i hear people at work saying.

I can see Taylor winning ... people who voted for Paris would vote for Taylor next I think. Elliot will go and people who voted for him would vote for Taylor. People who are voting for Paris or Elliot now would not vote for Chris - they might vote for Kat but I think her inconsistency is just catching up to her.
