Is there an app for peertrainer?
Does anyone know if/how you can you use it to log on a smart phone?

I look for this DAILY and there is no App ? I am going to contact PT and ask if this is in the works. I hope so

We should have something out this month. It is on the development schedule.

More PEERtrainer apps!
I would love a "365 PEERtrainer" app! (Like the yoga deck apps, or 365 desk calendars) gems, advice, nutritional information, tidbits, an abridged version of your tip of the day emails. I cannot get me enough PT! And you could update it every year as new research is constant. Maybe a 365 Health, 365 Newbie, 365 POWER USER... :)
Thanks.

That is a great idea!

I use fitbit app (and wear the device too). PT has become my "fall-back" - long time member. I stay because I like one group here....wish the logging were easier. I like the focus on social interaction. I feel like that is were the juice REALLY is but ALSO tracking is essential to the process.
I feel like the site has fallen away from original focus ("ecumenical" when it comes to crafting a plan, developmental when stepping into that plan) . There is so much more of the "PT plan" and there are leaders who are promoted.
I am sure that comes from an open-hearted journey but sometimes I find it gets in the way of real conversation. So I drift even more.

Keep drifting away my friend. Go where the wind takes you. Good luck

Ouch!!
I stay two because I -love- two of the groups I am in. Other areas of the site do seem outdated . . . . .
Perhaps if a mobile app is created it can help people log easier and communicate easier.
ex
--Why have a "spotlight group that" . . . well . . . let’s say limited dialogue
and the sucess stories . . . . -are- there any new sucesses?
--How long do we need to look at "Jen" from "NY NY" at the current sucess?

Just my three or four cents...

I thought that was funny! Made me laugh. But at the same time, valid point!

I am sorry you feel a drift. I hope you find what you are looking for, perhaps you need to do something different. You can't keep doing the same thing, and expect different results.

I do think the home page could use a facelift all around... Less is more!
I have been on PT for several years. In my opinion, it has only gotten better! The wealth of information is incredible! It just keeps improving! You should sign up for the emails, they are a valuable resource. My life has been enhanced by PT exponentially with all the health/wellness information and good friends.

Question to the PEERtrainer admin . . .
Will you be giving PT a bit of a "face lift"? OR not a the moment?

Updating PT daily log
Maybe this is not the right place for this comment, but I have always wished the PT daily food log had a place for "Snack" or food consumed AFTER dinner. For me this is a trouble area and I would like to log it as such.
Thanks for listening.

4:10- we have a lot of technical stuff in the works. We have spent a lot of time on the actual guts of the information and programs- which is the most important thing. Now that we have a good handle on that we will be spending more time on the technical aspect of things.
This month we will be rolling out new group functionality, as well as apps for google, apple and kindle.

I just got a kindle and I have been using my wi-fi to log on but I am super excited to see what the app is like!

I'm excited to see a new page...I've been on PT since day 1 (this is my second alias - since the first one stopped working and no one could help me log back onto it!). It seems they found a format - sold off advertising, and then left it. I used to think it was great - but now other social networking sites have surpassed it. I stay because I like the basic idea of it (getting to write in boxes instead of specific formatted stuff).
I understand not updating something that works...but I agree that I'm sick of seeing the same pictures, success stories..and a year without putting people into a spotlight?!? That's just lazy.

An Idea on how to log multlple snacks
Chalant-
I log all snacks in the “snack” section but put the time of day.
Ex:
am- strawberries
after work- ½ a luna bar
after dinner- a slice of cheesecake
hope that helps
after work and after dinner tend to be a challenging time for me as well

Hey PEERtrainer-
Thanks for responding. Glad to hear you have a lot of technical stuff in the works. I too am looking forward to the updates.
