But I have hit my goal! Today I weighed in and am at my target weight! two wks sooner than I thought I would too!
So now that this has gone so well, I'm going to lose another 5-10lbs.

Second pat on the back

Woo hoo! Way to go. It must feel pretty darn good getting to goal before your set date! Pat yourself on the back a few times, you deserve it!

if you reached your goal, why do you want to lose another 5-10lbs? I'd say congrats on getting to where you wanted to get, and enjoy it.

thanks all for the wonderful comments.

to the above poster.... I want to lose another ten lbs because even though I'm at my goal, I'm still a little above where I "should" be. my range is between 165-178... So I figure if I can get down to 170, I'll be a nice healthy range. Too, if I start working out with weights, I could well add a few more pounds, so this will help keep me in a healthy weight range.
