Celebratory nude pics?

Anyone remember J.Lo's engagement gift to Ben Affleck? The tasteful B&W nudes? I would love to do that for my fiancee when we get married and to hallmark my BOD I will and have been working so hard on.

Anyone know where/how? I'm look for artistic and sexy not porn.

Those are caled something specific...it's starts with a "b"...

If you don't get help here, log on to www.theknot.com, click on talk, local boards, and post something on your local area. Girls on there get them all the time. They should be able to recommend a photographer.

As a side note, is this something your HH would like? When I mentioned it to my FI he didn't like the idea of it at all. I guess the idea of someone else seeing me "naked" didn't appeal to him...

you can get them for free from photographers looking for models - the catch is you'd have to consent to her/his using your photo in their portfolio.
if it doesn't bother you, CL is full of photographers looking for models...

I think this is a great Idea. I told my husband I wanted to do the same type of idea but more abstract to hang as art in our bedroom (it would be husband and I in the pictures)

theknot.com someone posted is a good place to start looking. Also google photographers in your area and set up interviews with them, its going to be important that use a photographer you can trust and feel comfortable with.

another idea would be to get nude paintings done

I tend to agree with the 4:08 poster-- make sure your fiancee likes the idea. Otherwise it could be a good way to end the marriage on the first day....

I belive you are asking for "boudoir shots".

Just be VERY careful if you are using an unknown photographer-- you don't want to find the photos on the net!

Ok, my hubby got this for me for my b-day as a surprise, and as a celebration of my weight loss. I posted the best (airbrushed) shots on my March 14 log. Check them out if you'd like. It was a lot of fun doing the shoot :) I definatley recommend doing something like this. Link to my log below, look for March 14

Very nice Fleur--you're still covered up (except for the 1st shot) but sexy.

Yes, there are lots of photo studios that do the "glamour boudoir shots". Although, personally I think that when they airbrush it sort of deadens the photo sometimes, or looks a little too 'contrived'-- (of course, maybe it's the resolution of my screen.)

I'm a photographer, myself, and a lot depends upon how the photographer shoots the photos....there has to be 2 things going on.. 1) a feeling of trust between photographer and model and 2) the photographer has to have a "good eye" for detail, lighting, cropping, etc.

I think it's also different in your case--your hubby opted to get this as a present for you.... I'm not sure how many men would like to be surprised with nude pics of their woman, if they don't know who took the photos....

OP here

I know he thinks they are a cool idea. But, maybe closer to the actual session he could get squeemish.

That's good to know!

Then, I'd suggest that once you find the photographer you like and trust, you bring your fiance to the photo shoot. That way, he's there to see what's going on (and to act as your "escort" so that things don't get out of hand.)

This may sound funny, but I personally think that if you get a female photographer, she may be able to capture your essence in a way that's sexy, and tasteful, without being sleazy.

Of course, this really depends upon where you are living and if you have access to a variety of photographers! :-)
