Mini Trampoline Work-outs?

Does anyone on PT use a mini trampoline? I saw an infomercial about a kind of workout on a mini trampoline-- I have one, but was wondering how to use it effectively (i tried to mimic what I saw on the infomercial, but other than bouncing up and down and running in place, I'm not sure how to use it effectively... or even if it is effective?

If anyone has a book or DVD they could suggest that could help me in this regard, I'd love to hear about it! I'm just trying to mix up my work-out so that I'm not always doing the same exercises with the same equipment...

Does it really help with core strength like they say?

I used to have a book, but I think it got lost in one of my moves.
I found it helped to burn calories and trim down. I was lifting weights too, so I can't say if it helped with core strength or not.
I just ran in place... sometimes for an hr at a time. It was good work out... turned the music up loud and worked up a good sweat.
I have always been somewhat limited on space though, i simply got tired of rolling it out and putting it away. I've been walking lately, and find it to be just as good. I've managed to lose 35 lbs so far, and all I'm doing is walking... some days 2-3 hrs. I keep reading how walking is one of the best exercises you can do, and I think I'm a believer.
mini tramp is great too, and I had a lot of fun with mine, but I think now walking is my exercise of choice.
sorry to ramble so... have done a google search for exercises to do on the trampoline? try looking up rebounding exercise or work outs. you should find something
good luck!

You can get videos called Urban Rebounding. It's alot of fun and there are alot of different moves you can do. For me, it was hard to stay focued and really push myself. I found it more fun to just randomly jump! I think you would see good results if it was part of a bigger fitness routine.

I tried to get a book from the library and it was terrible. Maybe there is something better out there?
