I'm 23, 5'6" and way off target on weight. LOL

Instead of a daily vitamin, I take a Prenatal Vitamin. I've read that any woman of child bearing age (any woman that menstruates), can take a prenatal in place of a multi because the only difference is the extra folic acid, which will not hurt you. Someone correct me if I am passing along incorrect information because, as I said, this is just something I read.

I also take a B Complex and Magnesium vitamins daily. My sister-in-law (a nurse) recommended them to me.

I can say that I would NOT recommend the GNC Women's Ultra Mega daily vitamins. They TORE me up. I was SO sick from taking them. I've also had 2 doctors tell me that they did the same thing to them and quite a few of my co-workers.

I'm interested to see what everyone else takes! :)

I spoke with my doctor before I bought any suppliments last night. She suggested that since we are not exactly done having children (althought I dont want another for at least 3 years) to stay on prenatal pills, and ad a calcium with Vit. D as well.

I take a generic multi b/c the percentages are the same as the name brand and it's a little less in price. I also take a calcium w/ vitamin D, fish oil (for omega 3 and omega 6) 2x a day, and a B complex. I have seen a big difference since starting this, especially when I added the B complex. My hair grows so much faster now and so do my nails, and they are stronger too! The one thing I have to say is make sure you talk to your doctor about anything you are taking, even just vitamins!
