fitness magazines

Hey everyone, I'm thinking about subscribing to some health/fitness magazine to try to stay motivated and also just for entertainment. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations or could tell me in general the difference between Self, Shape, Health, and Fitness?

I like good recipes and short-ish articles (I hate lengthy stories I never read them).

I like all of those, I get to read most of them free at work, which is awesome. lol
But I found that I was considering subscribing to Women's Health, I believe - I thought it was somehow more useful than the others, though I haven't subscribed. Hope you find exactly what you are looking for!

I decided that I needed to stop reading Oxygen after I caught myself, at the museum, mentally retitling the sculpture "Three Nymphs" to "Three Nymphs with saggy butts."

I used to subscribe to both 'Health' and 'Fitness', and would occasionally pick up 'Shape' or 'Self'. I find them to be pretty much interchangeable, other than their titles, and to be a collection of the same damned articles EVERY MONTH:

'Power up your walk to lose more!
'The disease your doctor isn't discussing with you'
'Eat your favorite foods and still lose weight!'
'Your fitness issues in your 20's, 30's, 40's and beyond'

Meh.

Now that I'm starting to run again, I might consider subscribing to a running magazine, but the general women's fitness magazines are kind of a predictable snooze.
