TOO MUCH EXERCISE???

is it possible 2 do 2 much exercise?? plz help im eating healthily and goin 2 the gym twice a wk for 1 hour and doin aerobics and aqua aerobics for 2 hours the other 3 days.. i avnt lost any weight now in nearly 3 wks?? wot am i doin wrong..

Perhaps it IS possible to do too much exercise, but I would guess that would be an extreme amount unlikely to be your problem imo. Can't help but point out the Biggest Loser participants, where 4 or more hours a day is the norm. As to what you are doing wrong, can you tell us more? How much weight have you lost and how much more to lose? With all these workouts, are you not noticing positive changes in your body that are not necessarily reflected on the scales?

Diet is the biggest part of the weight loss equation. What's a typical day like when it comes to food? Overtraining to the extent of inhibiting weight loss usually comes into play when people are seriously challenging themselves for extended periods and have little to lose.

so far i have lost 9lb i have a further 2 stone to lose. i am losing inches but not very much.
i am doin 1hr areobics 3 times a wk straight after im doin 1 hr aqua fit.. then the other 2 days im goin 2 the gym where i do a 10 min warm up walk 20 mins cardio starting slow 4 1 min med 4 a min and running fat out for 2 mins. i complete this 5 times. i then do 10 leg presses 10 chest presses 10 shoulder presses 10 squats with weights in each hand 10 one arm row with a weight in hand and 30 /60 sit ups and then 20 minutes on the bike with the same sort of idea as the tread mill slow med fast.
i am at present on the weight watchers plan counting my points every day and not goin over them. iv been very tough with myself.
my w.w advisor has told me i could be bulking up with muscle.. and my body could be storing the fat as a backup and should mayb drop 2 days exercise to see if it helps..

im soo confused because i thought exercising and eating healthily would help me lose weight ?? plz help :)

It's not complilcated.
Cut back on food to lose weight, and exercise to keep or bring your body into shape.

didnt do ant exercise this wk... was really careful wot i ate and satyed within my points and lost 2lb..
