spray tan

okay so I have an event saturday and I'm plae as a ghost. I have been using the jergans natural glow 2 times a day for a week now, but i'm still nearly clear. I'll be in swimwear this weekend and sweating ALOT (btw my swim top is white) If i get a spray tan do you think the sweating i'll be doing on saturday will make it run or drip? will it get my white swim top dirty?

I recently had the spray tan. I was in a wedding and although I really wasn't sweating it stained the inside of my dress. Within a few days it started to get spotty . I noticed even more after my workouts when I was really sweaty . I would consider getting it done again if I had a better base , I am very fair skinned.

It all depends on what they use for the spray tan.

My sister and I had one done by a person so they could do the contouring and shading and get it better than the booth. We were down in South Carolina at the beach - we waited the 24 hours before going swimming/showering/etc. That tan lasted - oh - all of 5 mins. once we went in the ocean - I wasn't very happy.

The best spray tan I've found is Mystic Tan. BUT.... it took lots of trial and error to figure out what works best for me. I have to do silly little tricks like take the booties and tear them a certain way so that the bottoms of my feet don't turn orange but so my toes, ankles and sides of feet still get it. I still end up getting streaks where the tanner runs down my legs. It still looks funky a few days later when it starts wearing off in some places but not in others. I find that Mystic does not get on my clothes and sheets like other tanners but it still gets on them a teeny tiny bit.

I have some extra Mystic visits left. I'm interested to see what happens if I use Mystic as a base and then Jergens Natural glow to keep the funky wearing off from showing up. We shall see. I will report back!!

Blozzom :-)

Mystic Tan WILL stain the clothes that you wear to the tanning place, no matter how well you wipe off afterwards. Wear crap. But, after I showered, I didn't have any more problems with it coming off and staining clothes. I didn't like the color though - it looked like a very obvious fake-and-bake orange.
