Feeling unhappy, tired

I'm 25, and I'm feeling so TIRED lately. All day, every day, I just want to go to sleep. My muscles ache, like I'm about to get a cold, and I'm EXTREMELY irritable and depressed.

This should be the HAPPIEST time of my life, so far, because I'm getting married, but I can't look past this awful dragging ass feeling.

Can anybody say they've felt this way? What did you do? Was it anemia? Thyroid problems? Depression?

Let me know...

Really it could be anything - if I were you I would see a doctor and have some bloodwork done. It sounds like you are overly tired - how long has it been going on?

It could be depression. I know, because I've had it (due to anxiety). When I did, I was very irritable, sad, depressed, and crying. And when I was younger, I felt so depressed that I would sleep all day on the weekends because I was too sad to do anything in life. Maybe talk to a therapist? Also speak to your doctor to see if it's a physical problem as well. Good luck.

I too recommend a quick trip to the doctor...but also remember, our bodies can't tell the difference between good and bad stress. You're planning a wedding and probably working along with other adult responsibilities...don't forget to take time for yourself!

yup, felt that way after my call to the bar, which was a life long dream. Turns out it was a wheat allergy. Gave up wheat, felt great. No more anti-depressants, no more asthma, no more headaches- I had no idea "normal" could feel so good.
