New here, helloooo
Hello everyone,
I decided to join peertrainer because I needed new motivation! I had lost 15lbs and then slowly became more lenient. I gained back 3 lbs and decided I couldn't go back down that road again! NOT ME! lol Well I have been good and lost 5 lbs. So officially i lost 17 lbs, went from 172 to 155. I am only 5ft so I know I need to lose alot more! So what keeps everyone else motivated? I found that I just no longer to desire to be overweight and unhealthy. I prefer my strength, stamina, energy, etc...and today I found out I fit into a dress that wouldn't sip up before :-D

Welcome to PT. Try to get into an active group. That helps me out a lot!! Also, I just booked a beach vacation for May, so hopefully that will keep me motivated. I have a lot to lose also. Don't give up!!

Welcome! I agree with the active groups. The tip of the day thing keeps me motivated too.

Don't just join an active group. Be PART of an active group. Get active in motivating others, make a committment to your group members to read and comment on their logs. Being a good example of proper "peer training" is highly motivating in and of itself.
