I just want to be NORMAL!

OK, I just want to ask: I've been eating pretty well for the past 7 weeks and am happy with the progress I've made. BUT! The more veggies I incorporate (like salads, cucumber, carrot, corn, lima beans, etc.), the more gassy I get and the more constipated! I want to have healthy, normal BM's, and the OTC laxatives just give you diarrhea. Any suggestions on something I can eat regularly to help?
I am allergic to flaxseed oil and seeds, by the way. :)
