Alcohol - another social fear when your losing weight

People will always offer you a drink, then another and another if they know you like to drink. Even if you say you are cutting back. They mean no harm...just being friendly. I'm learning to enjoy my first then "babysit" my second for an hour or two. They are less likely to stick a third in your face if you've barely touched your second.

As far as food, I've found it helps to avoid ordering things that you love. Instead I pick things that I know taste O.K. at first but get less and less appetizing as the meal goes on. That way I still usually have half of it left at the end of the meal.
