Just a reminder on the effectiveness of small changes

For a while, I was doing really, really well with eating lots of veggies and not snacking. The last few weeks, some of the "big" changes I'd made have slipped, and most days I don't feel like I'm doing as well.

I've still dropped some weight though, and I think the difference is coming from all the small changes I've stuck to. I've stopped eating muffins for breakfast. I'm still eating smaller portions, and every time I go out to eat, I leave something on my plate. I've stopped using escalators. These and other "tiny" adjustments have had a big impact. The weight loss is slower, definitely, but I always think about how i put the weight on in the first place. I put it on over 2 years, so I'm fine with having it come off slowly, too.

So just remember that if you have a bad day or two, don't despair. If you continue making changes in your life that are small, they do add up to a big difference, it may just take you longer to see it. And the small changes are the easiest to stick with!
