Advice?

So today i really screwed up! Ya see we had this 4th of July party at work and, since it's that oh so special time of the month, i was craving salt and sweets. So i totally forget about my diet and instead gulped down a load of sweet, sugary cookies and thin, flaky lays chips. Now I'm feeling totally guilty not to mention i have this pending anxiety about my food choices on the 4th.

What I'm getting at is what do ya'll do to cheer yourself up after making a bad decision during your diet?
Also, does anyone have healthy ideas on what to eat this Friday as opposed to hotdogs and potato salad?
