mind shift?

Here is my question, about how to make a mind shift.
There is a bunch of beautiful grapes sitting on my desk, I am stressed today and instead of eating the grapes I am craving like crazy the cupcakes in the vending machine, I know the grapes are a better choice, and I really love grapes, but they feel like a punishment and the cupcake feels like a reward, has anyone else on this board been able to make this mind shift? If so how did you do it? I made the right choice, but again it feels down inside like a punishment, I want to be able to change my thinking so that junk food is the punishment and healthy food is the reward....
