NEED HELP had a Back Fusion and have diet questions
HI,
I am new to thi s site so please forgive me if I have posted this in the wrong area.
I am a 30 year old female, 5'8 198 lbs hourglass figure. I usually gain weight all over but my stomach stays slimmer. In the past few years I have gained weight in my stomach and love handle area after having a spinal surgery that failed almost 3 yrs ago. Just in the past 6 months I have started to try to exercise again.
I can handle the ellipitical machine if I do not raise the incline to much. I can usually handle every other day. If I have much of an incline my hips and lower back are in a lot of pain and it takes days to recup.
During the week I eat very healthy around 2200-2400 calories. I try to stay healthy on the weekends and am a very health conscious person. I try to workout 45 mins on the ellipitical. I love working out and it was a huge passion of mine before my injury. No matter how heathy I eat my weight keeps going up. I am very frustrated and at the gym get upset bc I want to push myself. I do so and then am out for days. Is there anyone on here that has had a Spinal Fusion and may be able to give me advice on a workout they have devised? Eating plans? I looked for a group involving this issue but did not find anything.
I have spent hours on the web looking for workout and eating plans for individuals with my dlilema and have found nothing. I cannot walk far but the ellipitcal seems to help. My heart rate gets very high I just do not feel I am losing any weight with it.
Thank You for anyone who takes time to read this. I just have been very sad and overwhelmed about what to do for a long time. Any advice is appreciated.
Sincerely,
Tara
