WHAT keeps you motivated to lose weight?

Or what kept you motivated to lose weight and keep going if you have already reached your weight loss goal?

I am a female 5'6'' @ 255 lbs. That's down from my highest weight of 280 lbs. I don't think I look like I weigh this much, but I do. Right now I am REALLY motivated to keep going because I enjoy making progress and seeing changes in my body. I was actually working out at the gym today and I checked myself out in the mirror and noticed that my legs were taking shape and my figure is starting to show.

But in the past, I have given up after not feeling motivated to keep going. I don't think this will happen to me because I'm working harder than I've ever worked and I'm having fun too. But just in case I get to that dark place again, share with me some of the things that kept you going even when you felt like giving up.
