August is arms month!

So, I've decided to focus mainly on arms the whole month of August. Being a female, I tend to do more ab/leg/butt type exercises and forget to weight trian my arms! I'm ready to have nice toned arms (now that summer is almost over... haha) becuase I think nice arms are a very sexy feature for a woman, and mine need some work! So, I want to do arm exercises everyday...

However, I've run into a problem... I've been very busy so far this month, every evening is booked for at least the next two weeks! So, what I decided to do is bring my resistance band into my office, and work through lunch, and then I've been doing 3 - 10 or so minute strength training sets through out the day. I'm not getting much cardio in, but I think this is all I will have time for the next couple weeks. Are these short strength training sessions all in vain, or will they actually produce results in a few weeks if I keep up with it. I'm still eating about 1200-1500 calories per day. I've just never really worked my arms, so I'm not sure if this will do anything, or if I should just wait until I can dedicate more time....
