New/Different Workouts
Looking for something new and different to keep exercising fun. What are some different activites you do to workout? Or what workouts do you really enjoy?

I just started doing jumping jacks and more dancing and walking and am getting excellent results. Just start out slow with the jumping jacks, they really work the calf muscles :)

Does anyone know of any cardio workouts that blast the fat off the middle quickly?

I don't think getting rid of fat in just one spot is a possibility - I wish it were. We have no control over where we lose the fat, we just have to keep working and eventually it'll start to deminish. In the mean time, some good ab work, like Pilates, will tone up your abs, so you'll have a beautiful tummy to show off once you get rid of the extra fat thats covering it up right now :)

cardio for the middle
i agree w/ the poster about Pilates and doing lots of ab work. unfortunately, i've heard that the mid-area is usally the last place fat comes off of. my trainer told me to be sure to do cardio and strength training, and just keep working at it.

For cardo that blasts fat off the middle, I'd say that whats worked for me best is Tae-Bo... because you're working out your abs while getting cardio, it's a great way to do strength and cardio in one shot... especially if you're short on time!

I'm finding swimming is helping alot. If you do a proper front crawl, and none of this doggy paddle junk, you feel it from the waist up. Key thing is extending your arm and stretching it when it re-enters the water. It really stretches/works your whole side. And all the twisting (breathe between every three strokes so that your breaths alternate each side.) helps as well. Most pools, especially city ones, will have a liefguard that can tell you how to swim properly, and form is important to making it a great workout.

Core training
To work those abs or core witch is the same, any cardio follow by a
good flexibility and core workout where you engage those abs muscle.
a good tip will be to look up some stability exercises and do them at least 4 times a week,.watch you diet, specialy the fat intakes and be patience is going to take sometime. Like someone said before is one of the hardest part to lose. I can say I gotten pretty good results out of doing that.
