Give me your excuses...

I figure we all have our "reasons" (read: excuses) for being over weight and/or yo-yo dieting, so why not admit to them?? I was talking to a lifestyle coach today (free service through my workplace) and we were going over my reasons, and I felt really liberated when I put them out there, then was able to oppose them logically... kind of like the first step at AA... admit you have a problem :)

Let's try to keep this a positive/constructive thread!!

My 3 Biggest Reasons for my Weightloss Plateau and then the truth:

1. I am severely anemic, like BAD, I am exhusted constantly and crave carbohydrates for energy... BUT it didn't stop me from losing the first 70lbs and it shouldn't stop me from losing the next 50lbs

2. I am a single mom and don't have time... BUT I can enlist the help of friends, family, the gym care center, or just work in my work outs around her schedule.

3. I am too busy with daughter, school, work, obligations... BUT I am as big, if not bigger in priority then most of the items on my "To Do" list, and I must schedule myself that way.

Hope you see what I am trying to get at. I am not saying people don't have legitimate reasons for their weighloss issues, just that not all of the reasons we give are as legitimate as we think! :)
