Feeling isolated

In high school, I was really active played soccer and field hockey, ate healthy, studied hard, worked, and had a social life. Once I went to college, I studied a lot and slowly my eating habits fell apart. I kept up exercising, but I struggled with overeating and emotional eating. One thing that I think has really taken a toll on me is the fact that I feel like I'm losing a lot of my friends to their boyfriends/husbands. I'm still really good friends with all of them, but I feel like I've been replaced as a best friend. It started when one of my sisters, who was my best friend in high school, went away to college. At school, she had her first boyfriend who she got married to a couple years ago and now they have a baby. As she got closer with him, I slowly felt our friendship grow apart. I have a lot of good friends from high school and college, but our friendships have dwindled due to boyfriends. Many are getting married and I'm still single. All my friends tell me I will meet someone and that any guy would be lucky to have me, but I have yet to find that guy. Even though I have a ton of friends, I feel like I don't really have anyone I'm really really really close to because they are all best friends with their significant others. In other words, I feel like I don't have much of a support system and I think it's taking a toll on me emotionally, which is causing me to eat emotionally. I have a hard time finding motivation to really do anything other than work and exercise.

It doesn't help that my mom and little sister constantly tells me I need to stop eating so much, that she notices I'm getting bigger, and telling me I should eat something healthier. She comments on how I used to be more active and help out more around the house. And how maybe if I'd lost a little weight, I would meet someone. In all honesty, I feel like a failure because I've gained weight since I went to school.

I'm hoping to find support here.
