-11 lbs since Nov
start PT 11/20 -- 170
2/11 -- 159
have been exercising (and losing weight) off and on for 4 yrs, gradually reaching my goal, with a few backslides along the way. 61 lbs total so far (most of it in the first year). Afraid "4 yrs" might sound discouraging, but slow and steady improvement is rewarding, and sets good habits for life.

I've ben up and down a lot over the past year, but it's slowly coming off and that's the way I like it.
Starting Weight - 202
Current Weight - 169
How long you have been working out .- I've always been active, but I only started paying attention to what I ate in the last 13 months.
Saturday, February 11, 2006, 1:47 PM
Starting weight 10/10/05 265 pounds
weigh-in 2/10/06 215 pounds
Loss to date: 50 pounds
Goal: 140 ( lordy, lordy)
(Exactly four months). Dieted a thousand pounds off over my lifetime but always tried to sidestep exercise. Yeah, right.
This time, it is not a diet. I've changed everything. Started off, couldn't do ten minutes aerobics without keeling over. Exercise six days a week now
in two- 1/2 hour sessions, mix up aerobics and weights.
No more high blood pressure, ulcerative colitis attacks or migraine headaches.
Maybe should have listened to my body before this, hmm?

I work out 7 days a week adding in 3 days of an hour weight-lifting class. I've hid the scales for the most part because gaining 2 pounds is very, very discouraging but I just keep telling myself that maybe it's muscle. I hope! I'm trying to focus of life change, like being physical everyday and drinking more water. When I look at it in those terms, I have completely succeeded in my goal and will continue to incorporate it daily. But secretly, I'm hoping the weight will start budging and come off soon!

It's working!
Started 1/2/06
Started at: 265
Current:238.4
Total lost: 26.6lbs!
I am so happy and proud of myself! I have been consuming no more than 1500 calories (mostly 12-1300) a day for 6 weeks, and it is literally mleting off. Cutting high fat foods, eating small meals, and logging everything I eat has helped so much. I have re-affirmed my love for apples, strawberries, and almost every other fruit and veggie. THey are my power tools!
Sunday, February 12, 2006, 3:20 PM
I'm on a roll and don't depend only on the what the scale says!
Started: 1/4/06 182.8 38% body fat
2/12/06 171 33.4% body fat
-11 lbs.
Lost 2 dress sizes
Lost 2.25" off waist
Lost 2.75" off hips
Lost 1.75" off thighs

I've lost 8 pounds which I think is pretty good considering I had to get through the holidays with a family that talks about what's for lunch while we're still eating breakfast. I am mindful of my diet and I have started yoga, but have not incorporated cardio in my plan yet. I have 10 more pounds to lose to get to 135.
Sunday, February 12, 2006, 5:43 PM
Starting Weight: 220
Current Weight: 220
Working at it for 2 days :)
Even people who are just starting appreciate a place to share their results, and for me the first three days are the hardest! So, two days down and one to go, then I must re-double my efforts to make it through a 'first week'! I love all the education and insights going on within this site, and I think it just might help me to keep at and improve my goals! Thanks
Sunday, February 12, 2006, 8:13 PM
I started last May at 127 lbs, went up to 129 lbs and bounced around there, while dieting/exercising, until September; lost 5lbs September - November, and stayed at around 123 lbs through the holidays; since Jan, lost 3 more lbs; current = 119.2 lbs. New goal is maintenance under 120!
