I found PeerTrainer today. I am 150 and need to lose 30 pounds. I need support more than anything else. I use to be quite discipline but find that its a major problem now. I need to be more firm with myself and I hope the community can help support me and keep me motivated. I went through a divorce 3 years ago and ago and gain 22 pounds which I feel so shameless about. Please give me some good tips on how to keep myself motivated.

First of all...welcome to PT! This place is great! I've been here for about 3 months and it has helped me shed almost 20lbs and do it in a healthy way.

The biggest tip I can give is to log EVERYTHING! Every nibble, every bite. It will help you see your eating patterns, what is working, what is not. Join a group or 2, join a few teams and BE ACTIVE! Meaning ask for help, provide others help and motivation, and just be there to chat. I'm in some great teams and would welcome you.
