For women and doctors--weird question...

TMI Alert, sorry boys.

I am 23, and I am very active. I workout about 5 times a week. I have a pretty steady diet, although this last week I've really cut calories (in a healthy, moderate way).

I have had NO rapid weight loss, I am NOT pregnant ( I took three tests, spread out within the last four weeks), but I havent had my period in about nine weeks.

The nurse seems to think that this is either stress or a change in workouts (could have increased my progesterone levels). I HAVE been working out alot harder, but it seems weird to me. Sort of a medical cop-out.

Any ideas?
