Wake up from sleep - get a snack?!?!

Last night I woke up in the middle of my sleep and ate a snack (luckily it was only about 150 cal). I was half asleep with my hand in the 'fridge thinking "this is weird" but still ate it and went back to sleep right away.
I had this happen once before when I was on a VERY restrictive diet - but yesterday I had about 1700 cal before bed (5'7'' female at 150 - very appropriate).
My workout was a low intensity day, although I did some new exercises with the weights. I just can seem to figure out what went on between my brain and my body that said "wake up, eat!"
I am not on any medications either.

Anyone else have this happen? Or have a clue what is going on? I am just hoping it doesn't become a habit!
