Ellipital/Cardio Question
Hi everyone!
I have 30 minutes at the gym every afternoon. My personal trainer started me out on the Total Body Elliptical for 15 minutes at a resistance of 20 (lowest is 15). I am up to doing 20-30 minutes of elliptical, but here's my question--actually 2 questions.
1. I want to burn fat. That's my goal. Should I stay in the fat burning heart rate zone or go for the cardio zone? Does it matter?
2. The workout appears to be getting easier for me. Should I work harder at it (meaning faster) or up the resistance? I'm wondering if upping the resistance is only going to build more muscle rather than burn fat.
