I'm burned out on PT and feel like quitting.
All right. Here is the deal. I have been on PT for about 6 months, and in that time I have lost about 20 lbs without exercising hardly at all. Before I started on PT I was exercising at least 3 to 5 times a week, and lost about 25 lbs in 5 months. But I'm really starting to think that I'm spending way too much time on the computer between this and other sites, and too little time getting out and exercising. I get home often times late from work and the first thing I do is jump on the computer and come to PT to log my food, comment with this group, the other group, the team, check the lounge area and give my 2 cents, then I go to MSN to check the news, then go to my online bank and check my transactions, then I check the Dear Ann column. By the time I get done maybe a full hour has passed. I just want to quit all of it, so that maybe I can get physical again instead of being so sedentary in front of the comp. I mean, if you are really giving a 100% to PT then it takes time to do all this stuff and be a supportive team member. I think I'm just burned out on all of it. It's like quitting sugar. I had to quit it all at once - no cutting back, it was cutting it out that helped. But before I go jumping off the bridge, I just wanted to see if there were other people out there like me. How many of you have quit and then come back?
Please be kind and helpful in your responses.
Thanks
