fasting advice and experiences
I have UC for those that don't know what that is its ulcerative collitis- bleeding ulcers in laymans terms... I was diagnosed early when I was about 16 and have had it . in and out of remission with it for years
I have went the PILL route.. predinisone and many other drugs which did nothing. I had alot of mixed emotions with the drugs and ended up eating and between eating and side effects of the drugs I weighed 370 pounds
well I am down to 183.. I am feeling great.. still have a ways to go , but its coming..
but my question is .. have any of you fasted for a good amount of time
am reading a book on fasting..and its piqued my curiosity
here is what it had to say

I am thinking fasting may heal my digestive track because my body will be resting from not having to digest food.. I am thinking of a true fast. only water
any advice or experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated.
