Nightime Binger

I am terrible when it comes to eating at night. I am usually alright during the day but at night its like I can't control myself. I figure the only way to stop this is to completely brake the habit. I am trying to eating more during the day and less at night but it's very difficult. I am so used to just grabbing a bunch of food and sitting by the television to eat. Even when I keep unhealthy food away I still manage to find a way. It's hard to control my binge eating but I'm hoping I can switch to eating more during the day and having a smaller dinner than trying not to eat after 6:00. Does anyone have and tips to make this transition a little easier?
