for couch to 5k'ers

I'm 1/2 thru week two...and I'm really enjoying it
prior to this, I was working out 5 days a week, mostly power walking/biking
I don't want to burn myself out, and I want to honor the days off that the program suggest, but at the same time, I'm working out LESS than I was before.

Any suggestions for days "off" workouts? Today is supposed to be my day off, but I'm finding that I really just want to get down there and do my intervals!
I was also thinking strength training/arms and abs as well....just looking to see what others had done!
