New Here & Need Help

I joined a few days ago and so far nobody in my groups has replied to any of my comments. I'm feeling really insignificant here.

My issue is that I need to lose 102 lbs. But I have MS and am in a wheelchair so I can't exercise (was already 48 lbs overweight before I had to go into the chair, then gained another 54 probally from not moving to burn off calories). So I have to do it all by the way I eat.

Somebody please give me some ideas about how to do this. My dr. is a dip and said to do one of two things: have stomach staple surgery or go on medifast or slim fast. But I know that's not the right way to do it. I want to learn what to eat, how to prepare and eat it, how much to eat, when to eat, etc. Right now I know nothing about nutrition and my healthcare folks won't talk to me about it sensible like.

Thanks.

PS - I tried eating only Lean Cuisine entrees with a salad and snacks of just fruit but I ended up gaining almost 10 lbs after 5 weeks.
