OT - HELP!! Ways to Deal With Moods?

Hi, I am a 21 year old female, and although I generally try to be polite and civil with everyone, there are times when I truly feel that it is not within my control to reign in my anger, at even the smallest things. In high school (granted I love my mom SO much), I'd come home, and honestly.. I'd yell at her for things that she really didn't do, which in retrospect seems to have been serving as a way to vent anger from general frustrations throughout my days. I'm also pretty mean on the basketball court (not in a funny, "I got game" sort of way - more in a hot head way). In my daily life however, at least in high school, I was VERY cordial, polite, and sweet to everyone.

Now at college I don't have these "normal" opportunities to vent. Although I have a best friend with whom I confide everything in (sans judgment, thank goodness), this still doesn't seem to be enough. I find myself taking my "moods" out on my boyfriend (of almost 2 years) who is truly the sweetest and kindest boy I know. He never deserves some of the truly evil that come out of these eyes. The weird thing is, I don't even have anything to be angry about! Really, I live what many people might consider a charmed (though ordinary) life. I go to college, have a few great best friends, have a great boyfriend, a nice family, and (hopefully), a good career ahead of me. So, I'm left with my moods (which admittedly do occur often during PMS), and the innocent people in my life (mostly my boyfriend, sometimes my sisters/best friend) who I take them out on.

I NEED to find a better way to deal with this. Help?
